Width issue starting from release 2.1.5

Hi,
I just tried to use the latest version 2.1.6 but something has changed in the drawing process and my tables goes in overflow.

with the 2.1.4 version

with the 2.1.6 (or 2.1.5) version

I can't understand why there's a lot of space on the right

@allan do you have some idea on how to solve it?

This commit for 2.1.5 changed the widths a bit, and is likely the issue, but... that isn't the impact I would expect it to have.

Can you link to a test case showing the issue so I can debug it please?

uhm is not so easy to reproduce, I have to find a way...

but I see that the 2.1.7 version works again, so thank you allan!
