    Looks like you are referring to Zuürck and Zurüch? Which is either Previous for First from the context of the screenshot.

    The current German translation file doesn't contain either of those strings:

        "paginate": {
            "first": "Erste",
            "next": "Nächste",
            "last": "Letzte",
            "previous": "Vorherige"
        },

    Where are you loading your translation from?

    I (somewhat embarrassingly) don't speak anything other than English. I rely on the community to help with translations. You can contribute changes here.

    I see one misspelled word above "Zuürck". But that is not in the Data Tables language file. You seem to be using something else that is not provided by Data Tables.

    Here is the link to an example using the German remote language file:
    https://datatables.net/examples/i18n/ajax

    As you can see: Zurück (back) is spelled correctly.

    Here is the link to the file:
    https://cdn.datatables.net/plug-ins/1.11.5/i18n/de-DE.json

    And the relevant part of that file:

    "paginate": {
            "first": "Erste",
            "previous": "Zurück",
            "next": "Nächste",
            "last": "Letzte"
        },

    @allan
    There is a deviation from what you have and the file referenced in the example above.
    As a native speaker I prefer "Zurück" over "Vorherige" in this particular context. Even though "Vorherige" is the exact translation of "previous" I would not use it in this context. "Zurück" (back) makes more sense in this context.

    Awesome - thanks @rf1234. I'll get the file updated to use Zurück.
