TableTools uses Flash only for the exporting options since local file access and clipboard access is very limited in HTML. To some extent HTML5 is helping that, although it isn't really up to a par with flash in that regard I would say, yet.
However the button configuration of TableTools and the row selection options will work just fine without Flash.
However, it does raise a number of interesting questions. For example with export to CSV etc you don't have access to the local file system on an iPad so how would you do something like that? It might be possible to use the iPad APIs to copy to clipboard - its not something I've looked into.
So I think in answer to your question - what aspect of TableTools do you want to use?
