issue with paging

I have an app that display about 300 records in the data table grid
I Perform a search -> select a result which have more than 100 records -> move to 2nd page -> Change the "Show entries" to 100

Now system Shows that "Showing 31 to 130 of 371 entries" at the bottom of the Grid
Click on the next page now system shows that "Showing 301 to 371 of 371 entries"


Why is it displaying 301 to 371 it should have displayed starting from 131?

Can you link me to an example showing the problem please? You are right it should be showing from 131 onwards.
