1.5 beta 6 released
Hello all,
I'm pleased to release DataTables 1.5 beta 6 - another step towards 1.5 final. I've taken this opportunity to introduce one or two new features, including one quite important one, plug-in support for custom filtering. This new API method allow you to create your own filtering methods which are applied to the table - here is an example I have created which shows range filtering: http://datatables.net/1.5-beta/examples/api/range_filtering.html
Other new points in this release are that you can now use -1 as a length value in the select menu to show all records, and state saving will now save individual column filtering information.
