Am I right it's a fair amount of work to engineer a server side JSON data source to do the full range of functionality?

    Hi @confundido ,

    It's not a large amount of work. We provide sample scripts for DB integration. For server side processing, enable serverSide. The protocol and samples are discussed here.

    Yeah, I'm getting there pretty quickly. Lack of ROW_NUMBER() in MariaDB has been a bit of a pain but hey. Emulating, just haven't been able to do a JOIN with row numbering.
