Bootstrap Styling in Buttons Plugin not Applying

The relevant CSS and JSs are there as per this page https://datatables.net/extensions/buttons/examples/styling/bootstrap.html it looks like the styles set are being overridden in some way by a style somewhere in my own theme.
How can I force the appropriate button styling? Any advice much appreciated.

Can you link to the page so we can debug it please. Without being able to see the page there isn't much in the way of debugging we can do.
