That property is button specific, so it is documented with each button type that it applies to - for example see the colvis documentation (specifically the columns option).

You understood me wrong. I want to generate pdf based only on visible columns. And mColumns defined which columns should be used as the data source for the export, but it is deprecated now. So even if column is hidden, it will be in pdf

exportOptions: { columns: ":visible" }
