Using Alphabet + lazy loading

Hello,

I am new to this forum ; I do not use DataTables yet but I am very interested in it.

I am particularly interested in the Alphabet function. I would like to know whether this is possible to launch an ajax call when clicking on the letter. My datasource can be actually very huge, thus a asynchronous behaviour would be more relevant and performant.
