Data tables - basic example - search not active

Hi, I have been trying to build a searchable bootstrap table. Currently I can't appear to get the table to be interactive (search or filter). I'm not experienced in Java. Is there additional code to make this active or is this likely an execution flaw (maybe with my java script plugins)?

Usually when things like this happen on a page you have a Javascript error that has stopped the script form running. Take a look at your browser's console for errors. In order for us to help we will need to see what you are doing. You can post a link to your page or build a test case.
