Change checkbox in checkbox column header when checking a checkbox on a datatable row

Description of problem: I am using a checkbox column on my datatable and it all works fine, apart from when i select one of the checkboxes in the checkbox column on one of the datatable rows, the checkbox on the row checks/unchecks as expected, yet the main toggle check box in the header of the checkbox column doesn't change.

Is there a known way to get this work that I have been unable to find?

If you have a "Select All" checkbox in the header then that is something you added or you are using the Gyrocde Checkboxes plugin. If using the Gryrocde plugin then you will need to ask the developer. If you created it then please provide a link to your page or a test case showing the issue so we can help debug.
